How to Source Strawberry Puree from Egypt

A useful strawberry puree RFQ starts with measurable product requirements and a qualified production site, not with a supplier list alone.

Define the strawberry puree before comparing suppliers

The buyer brief should state the intended application, product form, process expectations, measurable quality parameters, packaging configuration, estimated volume, destination and required evidence. Generic descriptions such as 'standard strawberry puree' are not precise enough for a controlled industrial purchase.

Use applicable product standards and the buyer's own finished-product requirements to determine which technical values must be fixed in the specification.

Qualify the exact processing site

Confirm which facility will process and pack the product, whether the relevant site information is current, whether the proposed line and pack format fit the project, and which food safety controls apply.

A trading company, exporter or quotation issuer should not be treated as proof of production capability without identifying the physical processor.

Control sample approval and lot release

Record the approved sample reference, the linked specification version and the agreed analytical or sensory checks. Before production, define how commercial lots will be sampled, tested and released.

The sampling method and acceptance rule should be agreed before shipment so both sides understand what constitutes conformity.

Check packaging, documents and destination readiness

Confirm packaging configuration, loading responsibility, export documents and any destination-specific import requirements before production starts. These requirements can affect the technical and commercial brief.

For EU-bound goods, Access2Markets is one official starting point for checking current import conditions. Other markets require their own current-source review.

Strawberry puree sourcing checklist

  • Product form and application defined

  • Exact processing site identified
  • Packaging format confirmed
  • Approved sample linked to specification
  • Sampling and testing plan agreed
  • Destination requirements reviewed
  • Shipment responsibilities documented

This guide is a commercial sourcing framework, not a universal strawberry puree specification. Technical values and legal requirements must be verified for the exact product, processor and destination.
