How to Source Mango Puree from Egypt

Mango puree sourcing becomes comparable only when every supplier is quoting against the same product definition, process, pack and acceptance criteria.

Industrial buyer reviewing mango puree specifications and supplier evidence

Use one controlled mango puree specification

State the intended application, product form, process, measurable quality parameters, packaging, estimated volume, destination and required records. This allows suppliers to confirm capability against the same requirement.

Any exception should be declared in writing so it does not disappear inside a price comparison.

Evidence: Codex General Standard for Fruit Juices and Nectars, CXS 247-2005

Verify site and process capability

Identify the exact facility that will process and pack the mango puree. Confirm the relevant site information, line compatibility and whether the proposed pack and process are actually available at that location.

Translate sample approval into lot controls

Link the approved sample to measurable acceptance criteria, methods and a specification version. Define how production lots will be sampled, tested and released before shipment.

Evidence: Codex General Guidelines on Sampling, CXG 50-2004

Normalize the commercial scope before comparing price

Compare like with like: same pack, same inspection and testing scope, same document responsibility, same shipment assumptions and same specification. A lower number can simply mean a smaller scope.
